POCi Stories publishes short fiction by people of color. Every story says how long it takes to read, so you can pick one that fits the time you have. Here's what's on each shelf.
Afrofuturism: futures we built ourselves
Water wars, sky cities and a solarpunk Earth rebuilt by hand. This is the home shelf for The Tournaments for 10,000 Souls, the world DJ Fat Black Samurai comes from.
Horror: what the desert keeps
Short, cold stories for after dark. The best ones fit in a single sitting, and stay with you longer than that.
Fantasy: old gods, new armor
Lineages, spirits and swordplay, from Yasuke's line to worlds of their own.
Satire: laugh so you don't scream
Black humor and satire aimed up: at billionaires, at the hustle, at the American dream.
How reading works
The opening of every story is free for anyone. Make a free POCi account and you can read the rest, on every shelf.
